stuff and ponderings and grudges
Oct. 22nd, 2004 11:09 pmWait...so there's a South Park marathon on tonight?
Whee, I know someone who's not going to bed at a godly hour.
My cold has now become a cough. It sucks. Mostly because I forget how worse it gets when I talk, so yeah, much of the suck.
I shall be making spanokopita over the weekend to feel better. I'm still debating about seeing The Grudge. While I do like SMG, I also don't really care for horror movies (I haven't even seen The Ring yet), and the movie trailers have pretty sucky special effects. Except for that freaking shower scene. Ick.
Honestly, I'm just waiting for The Incredibles.
And damn, I er, totally signed up for NaNoWriMo, so yeah. Really stupid idea. I will NOT be working on The Novel That Eats Me From Below, because no. Just no. Way too much work has to be done before I even set out to write the story, so I'm going to tackle a more horror/supernatural story set in 'the real' world, with a relatively human cast. And a total nerd as our protagnist. Yay, nerds.

Me too. I saw a huge billboard when I was in NYC that had a picture of the guy with a huge gut and the caption was "No gut, No glory".
Hee.

Date: 2004-10-23 05:06 am (UTC)And then I was forced to watch it, AGAIN.
Honestly, I'm just waiting for The Incredibles.
EEE! Me too! ;) I'm also all excited about Madagascar (http://www.apple.com/trailers/dreamworks/madagascar/), which is Dreamworks' next feature... Shark Tale sucked (and I was oh-so-sad about that) so I'm disappointed in DW right now, and I'll eventually post about this in my LJ so when I do, if you read it, you can skip that part, but man, I love the penguins.
Umm... I'm so sorry. I'm an animation geek.
BTW - "The Novel that Eats Me From Below" is a totally catchy title.
Feel better!

Date: 2004-10-23 04:28 pm (UTC)2. I saw the Grudge yesterday. Honestly? I thought the Ring sequel (or... prequel, or whatever the hell it is) they previewed was scarier than the feature presentation. It was visually interesting (to me anyway, but if you've seen the stuff I draw then it would be, haha) and had a pretty nifty beginning but if you're not into horror movies it's nothing to get excited about. Or even if you are. Yeah.
3. YAY NERDS!
