I've been a bad and slightly panicked mood all day. For various reasons. And you know what picks me up? Chatting with loverly people. Getting aid on fic that so needs to be finished.

And finally, catching some of Little Shop of Horrors. One of my favorite childhood movies. Because I was warped.

Now I shall be off discussing the hotness of men in drag, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Giles with the sexy legend that is purple_smurf.

I never claimed to be sane.

I love Little Shop.

My mom and I used to call my stepfather's cousin Seymour and play Suddenly Seymour into his answering machine at 1am. We'd have to run out of the room when he'd mention the bizarre phone calls he'd been getting to my Stepfather.

For me, I adored the Dentist song, because oddly enough, I enjoyed going to the dentist. And Steve Martin is awesome.

Have you ever seen the original, non-musical verson of Little Shop? Jack Nicholson's first role (or very close to it). He plays the dentist's patient.

And the original musical is grand. I saw it in its original incarnation off-Broadway.

I caught like the second half of the one with Jerry Lewis in it. That's the original yes? I thought the ending was lame, I like the semi-happy musical ending, just because seeing the plant explode was awesome.
