That is as far as I can manage at the moment. Although I had to defend Svetlana to my mom as she didn't understand why Svet wasn't being a happy smiling robot and I had to explain "because she's Svetlana, yo."

Oh, man, I am COMPLETELY religious about the Olympics this year.

Phelps is nice, but Van der Hooganband? GUH.

I feel bad for Phelps, only because he REALLY needs a new picture of himself to show at the bottom of the screen. That thing does not do him justice at all.

No other way to describe Svetlana, really.

And I've never heard Paul speak, but if that's true, then OMGSOFUCKINGFUNNY.

Have you heard Kerri Strug? Paul sounds like that. It's very disturbing. And hilarious.

As for Svetlana, I just hope she retires and eats a damn sandwich. She's clearly lost more weight since Syndey 2000 and her body just isn't handling it right. Her KNEES are bigger than her thighs. That ain't right.

Phelps' pic doesn't bring the pretty, but all I care about with the swimmers are the bodies. And the Thorpe. I'm all about thes shallow.

But, I'm glad at least one other of my friends is watching! I felt so alone.

Oh, several people on my f_list are watching and I sorta got into it because I always like to watch gymnastics. Because the swimming and gymnastics are being show together, I sorta have to watch 'em together. ;-)

He sounds like Kerri Strug?! Oh man, I'm getting mental sound bytes, and it is NOT pretty. It is, however, completely hysterical.

Oh man, when I first saw Svetlana this year, I was honestly disgusted. That cannot be healthy. When she was on the beam tonight, I'm all, "She's skinnier than the beam! LOOK at her! It's like, if you laid the beam on the floor and stretched her out next to it, they'd be all 'Yoo hoo, Svetlana, where'dcha go?'" Because I do talk like that, sadly.

Ooooo. Thorpe. I find his nose a total turn-on. And I wish I knew why.

lol, that's the only reason I got into swimming. That and volleyball, because they throw that in there, too. I can't wait for track and field to start, though.

Svetlana scares me. I know she probably has to deal with not having the now traditional body type of super short (I think she's around 5'5"), but seriously, she's way too damn skinny. Her vaults scare me because I'm always worried she's going to crack off a leg on landing.

And yes, Paul's voice is not pretty. Hee.

Yes, pretty much. Whic is sad because I think she's very pretty but she's destroyed her body.

She didn't looks unhealthy to me, i've known people who look like that naturally, cross-country runners and stuff. But i'd never seen her before these Olympics, so i haven't got any basis for comparison.
