So, I will be very brief:

On Tara/Franklin sex: "Yes, they still can't make vampire sex appealing."

On Pam/Yvetta sex: "GODDAMIT they can't even make hot lesbian sex all that appealing, STOP WITH YOUR FACE."

On Bill/Lorena sex: "Aaaaand that's how True Blood became a triple-threat all in one episode. Even dark fucked up sex is so FUCKED UP I am face-palming at the screen." Angel/Darla a la Angel: the Series was so silly at making that angry sex scene look hot. The real money is twisty-neck hatesex with GAAAAAARGH hair pulling and whatnot.

Or something.

I started way too many sentences with "O" words.

Um, other things: "And that's how Arlene fucked up Terry forever. (Oh god, poor woman, having Rene's baby.)" "And that's how Lafayette continues to be awesome." "And that's how I continue to adore that Eric is being more funny a la book Eric."

Re: Alcide, aka patron saint of actors who admit they are 6'5":

Love the look. Love that they said his name right. Not sure about the change in his profession (he & his dad are successful surveyors in the book, well-known in Louisiana and MIssissippi). Kind of hate the take on the "supes" bar where in the book, it was a vampire-run establishment.

But he's pretty and tall. MAKE HIS STAND NEXT TO ERIC. I NEED TO MEASURE THEM. FOR SCIENCE.

Continuity (for the show error): Sookie is supposed to have difficulty reading the minds of shifters (as seen in S1 with her trying to read Sam's mind, she usually can only read his overall emotions). Yet, with Alcide and all the other werewolves? Suddenly it works wonders. This show fails so hard at portraying Sookie's telepathy. Sorry, it's just been bugging me.

I love all my favorite characters and side-eye the ones who annoy me. Business as usual.

Also as usual: Jason Stackhouse. Bless his heart.

LOL--a friend and I were debating which would be worse: Ridiculous Face sex with Franklin, or Painful Six-Hour Bondage Sex with Eric.

Also patron saint of actors who admit they're 6'5'' AND can grow a beard! Somewhere, Jared Padalecki is sobbing into his favorite stuffed toy. I mean, wife.

I think Eric is taller than him too.

Also, why are you questioning the logic of True Blood vs the books? I mean, in the books was Arlene pregnant? Was Franklin Mott a spy? Did they even deal with werewolves who drink V before book 4? Did Lafeyette even live through book 1? NO. This is all Alan Ball verse, for better or for worse. :/

Oh man, it is not possible for that Lorena/Bill sex scene to have been any... worse. IN SO SO MANY WAYS. Probably one of the most disturbing sex scenes I've seen on tv, period. EPIC levels of DNW.

The Franklin/Tara sex scene also resides in the land of DNW.

I actually didn't mind Pam/Yvetta, but I think that is due largely to the general awesomeness of Pam.

I'm diggin' Alcide so far, too.
