Facts: Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galatica.

As much as I love Jim-as-Dwight saying Bears, beets, Battlestar Galatica, I must admit I too share a Stephen Colbert-esque fear and loathing In Las Vegas of bears, I have no great affection for beets, and BSG is the a sci-fi I tried to love but only respect. At a great distance.
I did spoil myself for the finale and I'm sure whenever I have a good stretch of time, I'll marathon the dvds in the future.
Here are my facts: Wiis. Queens. The Amazing Race.
As in, I spent much time playing Wii games over the weekend (and somehow my arm is not in pain, perhaps because I perfected couch sporting), marathoned RuPaul's Drag Race (squee! the finale is tonight, bitches!) so that I could mock Rebecca aka "Jav-er" aka Jim-Bob aka "tired little Latin boy in a dress", and then capped it off with watching last night's The Amazing Race.
OMG Mike and Mel, you are adorable and I wanna keep you forever. *_* I loved when Mel acknowledged that yelling at a taxi driver does nothing and then said he was going to feel bad about it for the rest of the day. And that he rocked the roadblock up against all the young ones in the caravan of fools (heh) by following the directions.
I have mixed feelings on Tammy and Victor (Victor is exhausting personality-wise) but they're doing okay and they're in way as obnoxious as racers on previous TAR installments. I don't really dislike anyone left on the race so far, which is great, although I'd be fine with seeing Mark and MIchael get eliminated next ep.

Date: 2009-03-23 01:49 pm (UTC)All the other teams are sort lumped together in a big ball of meh for me. None of them are really that interesting or exciting to watch. I think they all get along too well, they are down to 6 teams now, there should be more competition between the teams. I think they're all still being too nice to each, last nights episode was boring. I'm hoping there's more action next week.
Though, I did find it hilarious that most of the teams couldn't figure out that there were baskets right there to load the feed into and they were stuffing camel feed in their clothing to haul it back and forth. :P
