As for the ending of episode one: of course Indira had to die. She's getting way too good at picking interesting characters that die way too early. Poor crazy Susie.

As an American, I totally forgot that in the UK, a cop like Gwen wouldn't carry a gun. I was confused at her surprise at seeing a gun pointed to her and her freaked out reaction.

Jack seems to pick his team based on how flexible they are when it comes to dancing. I loved Gwen's nonfreakout about making out with possessed Carys. And that EVERYONE was into it when they watched it on the screen. Hee.

I am enjoying Heroes. But the Niki storyline bores me oh-so-much. But Hiro is awesome as always. And Nathan. Shirtless. Mmm. (That's not a spoiler by the way. That's just me saying that Nathan was shirtless and that's freakin' hot.)

I've had a thing for Adrian Pasdar since Profit.

Remember Profit? How the hell did they get away with that show? (Oh wait, they didn't, Fox canceled that show. Bastards.) A naked evil guy sleeping in a cardboard box became a defining moment in my path towards the twisty craziness of badass characters. Hell yeah.

I only saw like 3 minutes of Heroes tonight, as I've missed it for 2 weeks... three now, I guess, but anyway, I saw that guy and was like... I KNOW that I know him from somewhere... isn't he Profit? :P I never saw Profit, only the three million previews for it. I always wanted to check it out... and then it went away. Le sigh.

Yep, that's the Profit dude. It eventually was released on DVD. I have yet to see it on DVD, mostly because I don't want to spoil my fond memories of how utterly fucked up that show was.

Do it. Do it! If you can get past some of the very dated FX, the show holds up. Actually, I think it's better than I remember it being... especially the last episode, which never aired. I got it online for $15 and it was totally worth it.

The Doctor's "non-fighting" hand that he lost during The Christmas Invasion.

It was reported in a couple of magazines that that's what it was, but it's also clear from how loving Jack is towards it...plus, it's a Time Lord's hand - of course it's going to be able to linger on.

However, I still laugh at how much it doesn't look like Tennant's hand. David Tennant has slender hands and that fake hand was huuuuuge.

Torchwood is happiness and joy and I just need to see Jack have sex with everyone on the show. Is that too much to ask?

I really liked him in Mysterious Ways. That was a damn good show, but it's really hard not to think of him as Mr. Dixie Chicks Front Woman.
