State of Affairs and Holiday Card List

regala_electraApparently I have a paper due on Wednesday. In my Art of the Italian Renaissance class. Um. So need to get cracking on that.
And I have yet to finish July's People for my late-night class tomorrow. My reason for not cracking past fifty pages yet is that I kind of hate the author's writing style a whole lot. And I hate all the characters. And the words. And the stupid tone of the author. And well, even the page numbers.
Ooh, and on Saturday, I need to go to The Brooklyn Museum. Um, anyone want to come with? (So I don't getkilled lost.)
That's for my Art of the Near East class. Apparently on the first Saturday of every month, the museum is open for longer and may have special events and whatnot.
Dude, I am so not used to being in a house this quiet. There's no TV (*sob*), no family (*yah*), and it's all very, very quiet. I'm so not used to the lack of noise.
Fic ideas are swimming in my head, I may try to write up a bit later, but not at this moment. Have to concetrate on that paper (though I'm writing on the revelence of science in regard to the Renaissance and art, that's a rich subject, all I have to do is pare it down, find some good sources, and not bullshit, as this prof has an excellent bullshit detector).
