Bleeeeegggggghhhhhhh
Jul. 17th, 2003 09:23 pmI just fucked up my knee today.
Backstory: my mom and I went to the nail salon today and we were hungry since we'd both just gotten off from work.
The first place we went to was a Japanese place and was mad expensive. And it wasn't like it was this fancy, pricey joint, it was just an average restuarant. We decided the prices ($21 dollars for a tempura dinner? Are you kidding?) were insane and left.
Instead we went to get some takeout at KFC to bring home to my dad and my sister. After we got our food, I walked outside and tripped into this giant crack in the road.
*Boom* goes me. *Bang* That would be my knee. I not only scrapped it, but it's swelling and I can barely move my leg now.
My knees are really, really bad. They were creaking when I was ten. One of my knees gave out when I was thirteen and I had to wear a brace for a few days so it could heal. So this? Is really not good.
Looks like I'm not going to be able to do a lot of walking on vacation.

Date: 2003-07-17 10:31 pm (UTC)I'm so sorry to hear that! Have you tried to soak your knee in epsom salts or the like? That might be a place to start. And haul around that ice pack and try and bring the swelling down.
Feel better, babe!
