Because in America, people who work in the legislature do nothing! I mean, that's why nobody ever elected that loser Abraham Lincoln.

Governors of small-population states that have a significantly different economy that the rest of the country who only have 20 months experience > anyone who served time in national government outside of the executive branch. Wooo!

I've been doing my best to avoid Republican commentary, despite being forced to listen to Rush Limbaugh gloat in the car today. So therefore, I am unclear as to what exactly it is that the Republicans think is so eminently mockable about being a community organizer.

How can you not understand how horrifying it is to work at a grassroots level with the unwashed masses?

Pailn and Ex-Mayor Rudy Guiliani both delivered nasty comments about community organizers (in Palin's case it was a "while you were out being a community organizer, I was leading people" attack). It was pretty unbelievable.
